Our Story
What better way to tell a loved one you remember their child with them then with a card?
Welcome. First I would like to start off by saying something you may never expect to hear from a small business owner and that is saying that I do hope that I never sell a card. Not because I don’t believe in what my sister and I are doing but because if I never sold a card maybe it would mean no parent has experienced a loss like I have. However, I know firsthand that sometimes children die and although it’s not right I hope that if you ever find yourself or a loved one in that situation you turn to us to tell that someone how much you care for them and their lost child.
If you don’t already know my story I’ll give you a little background. This business started because of the loss of my twin boys Noah and Theodore. When mothers day came around my mom was searching for the perfect card for me and was struggling to find a card that wasn’t just a sympathy card. When she had no luck she decided to get creative and create her own, and she then did the same for my husband on fathers day. We both were truly grateful for those handmade cards and how much thought and time was put into them. From there my sister and I saw the opportunity to make an impact on the lives of other parents experiencing loss, thus, NT Cards was born.
Zoe Clark Coates once said, “When a parent loses a baby their final act of love is keeping their story alive.” My boys’ story is the root of this business and through this business I hope to continue to share their story, the Glory of God, and give strength and hope to all parents experiencing loss. If you would like to read more about my story head on over to my blog.
We have lots of ideas and are glad you guys are here to follow along. We would also greatly appreciate it if you shared our story so we can reach all the people who need this, because you just don’t know which friend or follower may have experienced a loss and could use a card. Much love and God Bless
